That creek will be completed in the coming weeks along with additional sod to complete hole 7. Drainage work along the property line has been completed to handle all stormwater runoff. The pipe running below the fairway on hole 5 has been installed and shaping will begin for that cart path, followed by new concrete and restoration of the fairway. Dirt has been staged along hole 3 and shaping will begin in the coming weeks. The tee boxes on hole 4 will also be graded, shaped and sodded in the coming weeks. Crews are finishing the final pipes and inlet installation as we conclude this month.
The irrigation project continues each day. There is one hole closed each day (weekdays only) for the sprinkler head and the two-wire installation. We have 6 holes left to complete on the back 9 and 3 holes left to complete on the front 9. We expect the irrigation work on the course and driving range to be completed in 2-3 more weeks.

Summer Preparation Plan
As we prepare for the exciting summer ahead, the Jersey Meadow Golf Club has created a summer preparation plan that we will execute during the month of May, in addition to our continuing berm project. As you are aware, the state of Texas experienced excessive freezing during the latter half of February and has experienced a colder month of March, resulting in below optimal golf experiences across the state. We have challenged our staff to establish a restoration plan to boost the quality of our golf course as we head into summer. Our goal is to expedite the recovery and increase the standard of our golf course greens and fairways so that we can get back to the normal golf course quality standard you have grown to love and appreciate. While our plan may cause some disturbance we want you to know that it is necessary and vital to the sustainability of our course conditions.
The highlights of our golf course restoration plan are as follows:
- The entire golf course will be cart path only beginning 5/3/21 and ending the evening of 5/28/21.
- The golf course will be closed May 10th, 11th, 12th, and 13th as we will be pouring concrete on holes 5,6 and 7 for the berm project, and internally, aerifying greens and fairways, fertilizing the course, restoring tee boxes, and manicuring/renovating greens with plugs and rolls of champion sod where needed.
* The entire facility will be closed May 10th, 11th, 12th, and 13th.
* Property gates will remain locked as well during the same days. - We will utilize temporary tees on Holes 1, 8 (par 3), 11 (par 3) and 12 beginning 5/3/21 and ending the evening of 5/28/21.
Our existing promotion of 25% off green fees when a hole is closed during the berm project will remain in place.
